Quotation statuses
Quotation statuses make it easy to categorize your quotations or guide them through a specific workflow. For example, the status of a quotation can indicate in which phase of the (negotiation) process the quotation is.
You can configure quotation statuses via the Quotation Statuses overview screen.
- Select this link to open the Quotation Statuses overview screen in Reflex Blue, or search for Quotation Statuses in the menu.
Creating a quotation status
Follow the steps below to create a quotation status:
- In the Quotation Statuses screen, select Add quotation status to open the quotation status detail screen.
- Fill in all required fields.
- Select Save to save the status. The status can now be used in quotations.
Modifying a quotation status
Follow the steps below to modify a quotation status:
- In the Quotation Statuses screen, select the quotation status you want to modify.
- Select Edit quotation status. This will open the details of the quotation status.
- Make your changes and select Save to save the status.
Deleting a quotation status
Follow the steps below to delete a quotation status:
- In the Quotation Statuses screen, select the quotation status you want to delete.
- Select Delete if you want to delete the status.
- Select Ok to confirm.
Filtering and searching quotation statuses
In the Quotation statuses overview screen, you have the option to filter or search based on various criteria. The table below provides an overview of the filters available for filtering quotation statuses.

| Active/Inactive | With this filter, you can determine if you want to see statuses based on their active status. When a status is deleted, it is made inactive. For example, by filtering on inactive statuses, deleted statuses can be retrieved and potentially reactivated. |
| Name and Code | With this filter, you can choose to only see statuses with a specific name or code based on a configurable match. |
Automatic status change
You can manually change the status of a quotation. When confirming or canceling a quotation, you can also enable an automatic status change. In the administration settings in Reflex Blue, you can configure default statuses for this. Here’s how:
- Open the Administration Settings in Reflex Blue from the menu.
- Select Quotation settings from the Quotations category.
- Under the Default Quotation Statuses heading, you can adjust the status settings.
- By selecting the icon next to each status setting, you can choose from previously defined quotation statuses.
The following settings are available for automatically updating quotation statuses:

| New quotation | The status automatically assigned to a new quotation. |
| Quotation sent | The status automatically assigned after sending a quotation. |
| Quotation processed | The status automatically assigned to a quotation upon processing. |
| Reject quotation | The status automatically assigned to a quotation upon rejection. |
