The Roles overview screen in ReflexBlue
The Roles overview screen in ReflexBlue allows you to manage roles. In this screen, you can see a list of all created roles and you can add, edit, or delete roles.
You can open the Roles overview screen as follows:
- Open the menu in ReflexBlue with Ctrl+~ and select Management > Roles.
- You can also go directly to the overview screen via this link.
Screen layout
The Roles overview screen displays a list of all roles and their associated details. You can sort the list by selecting a column header. The table below explains the available columns.

Select Refresh to update the list with the most recent data.
Adding a role
Follow these steps to add a new role:
- Select Add Role in the Roles overview screen. The detail screen will open.
- Enter the required details. These details are explained later in this manual.
- Select Save to save the role.
Editing a role
Follow these steps to edit an existing role:
- In the Roles overview screen, select the role you want to edit.
- Select Edit Role. The detail screen will open.
- Adjust the desired details. These details are explained later in this manual.
- Select Save to save the changes.
Deleting a role
Follow these steps to delete a role:
- In the Roles overview screen, select the role you want to delete.
- Select Delete Role.
- Confirm that you want to delete the role.
- After confirming, the role will be deleted and will no longer appear in the overview.
Role details
In the detail screen of the Roles overview screen, you’ll see the role details. The table below provides an overview and explanation of the available details.

| Description | A description of the role. Describe for which users this role is intended. |
| Permissions | A list of user permissions assigned to the role. |

Managing role permissions
In the detail screen of the Roles overview screen, you’ll see a list of the permissions assigned to the role. The table below explains the displayed details.

| Module | The ReflexBlue module for which the permission applies. |
| Application | The application for which the permission applies. |
| Permission | A description of the permission that has been assigned. |
| Seats | The different ReflexBlue seat types for which the permission applies. |
Select Copy to clipboard to copy the list of permissions to the clipboard. The permissions will be placed on the clipboard in CSV format, so you can easily paste them into another program.
Searching and filtering permissions
You can filter the list of assigned permissions in the detail screen of the Roles overview screen by Modules, Applications, and Seat. Select one or more of these options to filter the user permissions.
You can also use the Search field to search in the list of user permissions.
Adding permissions
Follow these steps to add permissions to a role:
- Open the role to which you want to add permissions in the Roles overview screen.
- Select Add Permissions in the detail screen. The Add permissions window will open.
- In the Add Permissions window, select all permissions you want to add and confirm with Ok.
- The selected permissions will be added to the role.
- Select Save to save the role.
Removing permissions
Follow these steps to remove permissions from a role:
- Open the role from which you want to remove permissions in the Roles overview screen.
- In the detail screen, select the permissions you want to remove by checking them.
- Select Delete permissions.
- Confirm that you want to remove the permissions.
- Select Save to save the role.
