The Administration Details screen of the ReflexBlue Printer Service
The Administration Details screen of the ReflexBlue Printer Service allows you to link logical printers from your ReflexBlue environment to local (network) printers for handling print jobs. This guide will walk you through the process step by step.
To open the Administration Details screen, follow these steps:
- Open the ReflexBlue Printer Service application and go to the Administrations screen by selecting Configuration > Administrations in the menu.
- In the list of linked administrations, select the Name of the administration to open it.
Screen layout
The Administration Details screen provides an overview of the printers linked to the ReflexBlue Printer Service. The table below gives an overview of the data displayed in the list of linked printers.

Linking logical and physical printers
Follow the steps below to link a logical printer from your ReflexBlue administration to a local physical printer via the ReflexBlue Printer Service:

In the Administration Details screen, select the Add Printer option. The Add Printer popup appears with options for selecting a ReflexBlue and a Windows printer.

Link the logical ReflexBlue printer to a Windows printer:

Select Select ReflexBlue Printer. Choose a logical printer from the menu that appears, defined in the relevant ReflexBlue administration.
If there are no printers in the list, you first need to add them in your administration using the ReflexBlue Desktop Client application.

Select Select Windows Printer. Choose a Windows printer from the menu that is locally installed or accessible from your local network.

Select Ok to add the printer and create the link. You will then be returned to the Administration Details screen.

In the Administration Details screen, check whether the printer has been added to the list and whether the ReflexBlue Status of the printer is set to Ok.

From now on, you can print to the logical printer in ReflexBlue, and print jobs will be sent to the linked physical printer. You can view the print jobs locally in the ReflexBlue Printer Service application by selecting Print Tasks in the menu.
Removing a printer
Follow the steps below to remove a printer in the ReflexBlue Printer Service:
- In the Administration Details screen, select the printer you want to remove from the list of linked printers.
- Select the Delete Printer option.
- Confirm that you want to remove the printer. After confirmation, the printer link will be removed and the logical printer in the relevant ReflexBlue administration will no longer be linked to this printer service.
