Control Point Questions
Everything starts with defining the questions that need to be asked. This page explains how to create and configure questions.
With control points, you let the system present a question form to your employees at determined moments in production. These questions are recorded and can provide insights at a later stage to improve the quality of your products or services.
Creating questions
Use the following steps to create a control point question:
- Select this link to open the Control Point Questions screen in Reflex Blue, or look for Questions in the menu.
- Select Add in the toolbar. A new view will open.
- Fill in a name and description. These are used to identify the question.
- Tag the question with categories. If you haven’t created any categories yet, follow the steps on this page.
- In the Question Text field, enter the question that needs to be asked.
- Select an answer type (numeric/multiple-choice).
- In case of multiple-choice, add the possible answers by selecting Add in the toolbar. Determine if there are just one or multiple answers possible.
- Select Save to save the question.
Numeric questions
Numeric questions can have an optional default value, minimum value, and maximum value. These values are optional. When used, the question form will enforce compliance with these conditions. When a default value is set, the input field will be filled in automatically when the question form is presented.
Multiple-choice questions
Multiple-choice questions are useful when the answers can be predefined. Employees can quickly select a predefined answer. When it should be possible to select more than one answer, activate the Multiple Answers option.
The answers are divided into several columns:
- The description is what the employee will see as the answer.
- The value can be used for export and analysis purposes.
- Use is selected to indicate that the answer is pre-selected by default.
After following these steps, the question is ready for use.
Question revision
Every time a question is saved, it is stored as a new revision of the question. This way, we preserve the history of registrations with the correct revision. Select the tab Revision History to see all the revisions of the question. Whenever you want to go back to a previous revision, just select the revision and select Open Revision. Save the question again to make it the current revision.
