Configuring the ReflexBlue Printer Service
Follow the steps below to configure the ReflexBlue Printer Service:
- Open the ReflexBlue Printer Service application and navigate to the Settings screen by selecting Configuration > Settings in the menu.
- Enter the required configuration details. The configuration fields are explained in more detail below.
- Select Submit to save the configuration.

Service settings
| Name | Description |

| Printer service name | Enter a logical name for this printer service. This name is used by ReflexBlue to identify the printer service, for example in print jobs. Choose a unique and recognizable name so you can easily see where a print job was handled later in the ReflexBlue Desktop Client application. |
Application Server
| Name | Description |

| URL | The web address (URL) of your ReflexBlue Application Server. Click here for instructions on how to find the URL. |
User
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The ReflexBlue user account that the printer service will use to log in to your ReflexBlue Application Server. |
| Password | The password for this user account. |
You can create this user via the ReflexBlue Desktop Client application. The user must have a LocalService ReflexBlue seat and be assigned to a role with the below rights.

Important notes:
- Do not confuse this ReflexBlue user with the local Windows user account used during the installation of the ReflexBlue Printer Service.
- Do not change the password of this ReflexBlue user without also updating it in the configuration of the ReflexBlue Printer Service.
- Store the password in a safe and secure manner for future reinstallation.
