The Report History overview screen in ReflexBlue
The Report History overview screen allows you to view the history of all generated reports in ReflexBlue. Through this screen, you can request an overview of the created reports to view them, save them locally, or print them again.
To open the Report History overview screen, you can use the following methods:
- Open the menu in ReflexBlue using the Ctrl+~ keyboard shortcut and select Management > History > Report History, or select this link to open the Report History overview screen.
Screen layout
In the Report History overview screen, you’ll see a list of all generated reports alongside a print preview.
List of reports
The list of reports displays various details for each report, which are further explained in the table below. By selecting the column headers, you can sort the list by these details.

| User | The user who generated the report. |
| Report type | The type of report. |
| Report layout | The name of the report layout used when generating the report. |
Preview pane
You can show or hide the preview pane by selecting Preview. In the preview pane, you can navigate through the pages and zoom in or out on the preview.
Opening or saving a report locally
ReflexBlue gives you the option to save a report locally in various file formats, including PDF, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word. This provides extra options and flexibility regarding how the information in the report can be used.
Saving a report locally
Follow these steps to save a report locally:
- In the Report History overview screen, select the report you want to save.
- Then select Save locally.
- Enter a name for the file, select the format in which you want to save the report, and select Save.
Opening a report
Follow these steps to open a report:
- In the Report History overview screen, select the report you want to open.
- Then select one of the following options:
- Select Open to open the report as a PDF document, or
- Select the arrow next to Open to open a menu where you can choose from the following options:
- Open as PDF
- Open in Excel (data only)
- Open in Excel
- Open in Word
- After making your choice, the report will open in the selected format.
Emailing a report
Note: This feature requires that a default email program is set up on your PC.
Follow these steps to email a report:
- In the Report History overview screen, select the report you want to email.
- Then select Email.
- The report will be added as a PDF attachment in an email message and opened in your default email program.
- Complete the email message and send it.
Printing a report to a specific printer
Follow these steps to print a report to a specific printer:
- In the Report History overview screen, select the report you want to print.
- Then select the arrow next to Print on printer….
- A menu will appear with the names of the logical printers defined in the administration you are logged into.
- Select the printer you want to print the report on from the menu.
- The report will be processed and printed on the selected printer.
Filtering and searching reports
In the Report History overview screen, you have the option to filter or search based on various criteria. The table below provides an overview of the available filters for filtering reports.

| Date | This filter allows you to only see reports that were generated on a specific date or within a specific period. |
| User | This filter allows you to only see reports generated by a specific user. |
| Report Definition | This filter allows you to only see reports that use a specific definition. |
| Report Type | This filter allows you to only see reports of a specific type. |
