The Print Jobs overview screen in ReflexBlue
The Print Jobs overview screen allows you to manage print jobs in ReflexBlue. Through this screen, you can view a list of print jobs and view, save locally, reprint, or delete print jobs.
To open the Print Jobs overview screen, you can use the following methods:
- Open the menu in ReflexBlue using the shortcut Ctrl+~ and select the option Administration > General > Print Jobs, or select this link to open the Print Jobs overview screen.
Screen layout
In the Print Jobs overview screen, you’ll see a list of all print jobs along with a print preview (Preview).
List of print jobs
The list of print jobs shows various details for each print job, which are explained in the table below. By selecting the column headers, you can sort the list by these details.

| ReflexBlue printer | The name of the logical printer created in the current administration and to which was printed. |

| Modified by | The user who last modified the print job. |
| Printer service | The name of the printer service that handled the print job. |
| Printer name | The name of the printer to which the job was sent. |
| Machine name | The name of the machine (or PC) where the printer service is installed and where the print job was processed. |
| Status | The status of the print job. |
Print preview
You can open or hide the print preview by selecting Preview. In the print preview, you have the ability to navigate through the pages and zoom in or out.
Reprinting print jobs
Follow the steps below to reprint one or more print jobs:
- In the Print Jobs overview screen, first select one or more print jobs you want to reprint by checking them.
- Then select the option Reprint jobs.
- The print jobs will be requeued and appear in the overview with the status New.
Deleting a print job
To delete a print job, follow these steps:
- In the Print Jobs overview screen, first select the print job you want to delete.
- Then select Delete selected job.
- Confirm that you want to delete the print job.
- After confirming, the print job will be deleted and will no longer be visible in the overview screen.
Opening or saving a print job Locally
ReflexBlue provides the ability to save a print job locally in various file formats, including PDF, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word. This offers additional options and flexibility regarding how the information in the print job can be used.
Saving a print job locally
Follow these steps to save a print job locally:
- In the Print Jobs overview screen, first select the print job you want to save locally.
- Then select Save locally.
- Enter a name for the file, select the format in which you want to save the print job, and select Save.
Opening a print job
Follow these steps to open a print job:
- In the Print Jobs overview screen, first select the print job you want to open.
- You then have the following options:
- Select Open to open the print job as a PDF document, or
- Select the arrow next to Open to open a menu where you can choose from the following options:
- Open as PDF
- Open in Excel (data only)
- Open in Excel
- Open in Word
- After making your choice, the file will be opened in the selected format.
Editing the report layout of a print job
Through the Print Jobs overview screen, you can also edit the report layout of the report definition that was used when creating the print job.
Follow these steps to edit the report layout:

In the Print Jobs overview screen, first select the print job whose report layout you want to edit.

Then select Edit layout.
For reports with multiple layout definitions, after selecting the Edit layout option, you’ll need to choose between the layout definitions.

The layout definition will then be opened in the Report Designer.

Make and save your changes to the report. The modified layout definition will be used for the next print job.
Filtering and searching print jobs
In the Print Jobs overview screen, you have the ability to filter or search based on various criteria. The table below provides an overview of the available filters for filtering print jobs.

| Printer service | This filter allows you to only see print jobs that were handled by a specific printer service, based on a configurable match with the name of the printer service. |
| ReflexBlue printer | This filter allows you to only see print jobs that were sent to a specific ReflexBlue printer. You can choose from the list of logical printer names created in the administration. |
| Status | This filter allows you to only see print jobs with a certain status. |
